Refund policy

Returns + Refunds
Our policy lasts 15 days. If more than 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a full return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  If the item arrives damaged, please photograph it with the packaging it was shipped in and email us the photo.  Used products will not be accepted for return.

Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Digital downloads 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Please do not send your purchase back until you communicate with us.  

Refunds (if applicable)
You are responsible for the shipping to return items to us.  Please keep confirmation numbers from the shipper. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will share a refund form with you via email, asking for details surrounding your request and we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.  A 15% return processing fee applies to anything that is returned, and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

When we process your refund you should receive an email with the processing information and details.  Please check spam for that message.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale or closeout items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at courtney@sloanemarley.com we will issue you an address to return the item to.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return if they items are unopened and unused. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we can only send a refund to the gift giver and same use terms apply.  

Shipping
If we signal you to return your product, please communicate with us to receive a mailing address for return.  We'll respond quickly. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. That way we can each guarantee that we receive your returned item.

If any items are lost during the shipping service, particularly during the holidays, we cannot control the shipping service and we are not responsible to replace the item.  You are welcome to message us for details about the shipping method, tracking information, and service we used and create a formal complaint with that service for credit or a replacement via their policies on lost items. We cooperate fully with them to create a replacement but we do not pay for the replacement once an item has successfully reached the city being shipped to and is out for delivery.  We cannot be responsible for replacing items that may have been misdelivered or stolen during delivery or after delivery.
